How to bring up QuotePad main window
To bring up the QuotePad main window you can:
- Left-click the QuotePad icon in the system tray:

- Move the mouse pointer to the narrow Docking Line (usually red)
at the screen edge.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+N.
Moving the window
QuotePad’s main window automatically docks to the screen edge,
and a Docking Line, which is always visible, appears there to
indicate the spot. Now you can call QuotePad by simple pointing at
it. Important! The Docking Line will not appear if you try to dock
the window to the edge, where Windows Taskbar, Microsoft Office
Panel or any other Application Bar is already docked.
Using the QuotePad Window
The QuotePad Window can conditionally be subdivided into four
areas:
- Title bar. The program’s main menu button is on the
left. On the right there is the "Close window" button, to re-open
the window click the QuotePad icon in the system tray.
- List of notes. For more details see Managing the List of Notes.
- If the window is docked to the screen edge, the Docking Line
may appear here.
